Spiegel des englischen Königshauses

18 K. Gelb-Gold/Spiegelglas/Edelholzrahmen. Gold punziert mit Londoner Stadtmarke, Jahresbuchstabe "K" für 1905 und Manufakturmarke von John Bodman Carrington. Der Spiegel wurde im Auftrag des Maharadschas (Nizam) von Hyderabad mit dem Namen "Mir Turab Ali Khan", mit vollem Titel "Nawab Sir Salar Jung I. Bahadur, Muktiar-ul-Mulk, Suja ud-Daula" angefertigt und diente wohl als Gastgeschenk für das englische Königshaus. Ursprünglich beinhaltete der Rahmen wohl kein Spiegelglas, sondern ein Bild des Schenkenden. Mit Ornamenten, Rankenwerk, Krone und Aufschriften "The Nizam", "Hyderabad" und "Deccan" verziert.
