Öl/Leinwand. Winterliche Landschaftsszenerie. Motive der kalten Jahreszeit gehörten zu den bevorzugten Bildmotiven des Schweizer Malers. Nach dem Besuch der Münchner Kunstakademie trat er der Münchner Kunstakademie bei und stellte seine meist impressionistisch anmutenden Bilder regelmäßig im Glaspalast aus.
