Öl/Holz. Feines Mädchenporträt. Für seine lebendigen Darstellungen von Kindern und Heranwachsenden war der deutsche Maler Piltz bekannt und wurde etwa von Adolph Menzel hochgelobt. Im Allgemeinen konnte sich der Künstler jedoch als Genremaler in das deutsche Kunstgeschehen etablieren und ist hier dem typischen Realismus des 19. Jahrhunderts zuzuordnen. Rechts oben signiert.
