Öl/Hartfaserplatte. Bildnis eines verträumten Mannes im Gewand. Vor allem Genrebilder des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts faszinierten den Maler Weiser, der sowohl akademisch als auch autodidaktisch ausgebildet wurde und seine malerischen Kenntnisse auf Reisen nach Rom vertiefte. Rechts unten verblasst signiert, Rom ortszeichnet, "78" datiert. Altersbedingte gute Erhaltung. Italien, um 1878. H x B ca. 36 x 47 cm, gerahmt
