Öl/Leinwand. Altes Rathaus über der Pegnitz in Bamberg. In seinem Spätwerk wandte sich der Nürnberger Maler seiner fränkischen Heimat zu und malte mit Vorliebe Stadtansichten von Bamberg Nürnberg oder Dinkelsbühl. Sein pastoser Farbauftrag in flotter Manier deutet auf seine künstlerische Nähe zum Impressionismus hin. Rechts unten signiert. Guter Zustand, eine Delle in der rechten, oberen Hälfte.
