Öl/Malkarton. Pastorale Landschaft mit Brücke und Stadtansicht. Gill war ein englischer Landschaftsmaler und stammte aus einer Künstlerfamilie. Seine Werke weisen Einflüsse von Claude Lorrain und Nicolas Poussin. Links unten signiert und auf "1852" datiert. Nach dem Vorbild von Georg Smith (1713 - 1776). Min. F. a., ansonsten gut erhalten. Großbritannien, 19. Jh. H x B ca. 39 x 28 cm, ger. Rahmen best.
