Bronze, dunkel und gold patiniert. Kniender, nackter Jüngling, der seine Arme um sich schlingt. „L’agenouillé de la fontaine“. George Minnes (1866-1941) asketischer Stil beeinflusste die Wiener Moderne. In einer Ausstellung in Wien 1900 waren Modelle des Jünglings Bestandteil des Hauptwerkes: einem Brunnen mit 5 knienden Figuren. Am Sockel signiert, ohne Gießerstempel. Min. Fl., ansonsten guter Zustand. Belgien, frühes 20. Jh. H ca. 78 cm
