Bronze, dunkel patiniert. Auf einem hochrechteckigen Sockel sitzt ein Eisvogel. François Galoyer schafft mit seinen raffinierten Arbeiten und glatten Oberflächen Tierskulpturen, die sich auf das Wesentliche konzentrierten und so dem Wesen des dargestellten Tier so nahe wie möglich kommt. Die häufigsten Sujets sind Vögel und wilde Tiere. Auf Sockel „Galoyer“ signiert und „7/8“ nummeriert. Am unteren Rand des Sockels Gießereistempel wohl Fonderie Paumelle. Min. Abplatzer, ansonsten guter Zustand. Frankreich, 20. Jh. H ca. 19,3 cm
