In einer weiten Landschaft mit einer kleinen Häuseransammlung und einem Flusslauf in der linken Bildhälfte rastet eine Familie unter den zentral dargestellten Bäumen. Auf dem daran vorbeiführenden Weg werden zwei Soldaten von Frauen bezahlt. Weitere Staffagepersonen sind in der Landschaft zu finden. Unten rechts auf einem Stein signiert „F. Meinicke“ und datiert auf 1830. Originaler Zustand. Deutschland, um 1830 Öl/Leinwand H x B ca. 60 x 74 cm
