Regule, dunkel patiniert. Die vollplastische Skulpturengruppe zeigt in dynamischer Bewegung ein Pferdepaar – einen Hengst und eine Stute – die sich umkreisen. Museumskopie nach Pierre-Jules Mêne (1810 Paris - 1879 ebenda) der Gruppe „Die Umarmung“. Der französische Tierbildhauer war einer der herausragendsten Tierbildhauer und fing den Charakter der dargestellten Tiere auf einfühlsame Art und Weise ein. Auf Plinthe signiert. Min. Fl., min. ber., ansonsten guter Zustand. Frankreich, 20. Jh. H x B x T ca. 40,8 x 57 x 24,5 cm
